DDay Training Ltd - Terms & Conditions


Reservations - Provisional bookings may be accepted over the telephone or on-line with 25% of the course fee; these however need be confirmed in writing or email with payment, at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course or immediately if within this time.


D Day Training Ltd reserves the right to re-allocate places where this confirmation has not been received.


Contract Particulars - D Day Training Ltd will provide the course listed to the client (as named). The client agrees to make payment in full as detailed at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course, and to confirm their agreement to this contract by completing and returning a signed copy of these Terms & Conditions with payment or an acknowledgement email with payment (acknowledgement emails are taken as an agreement to the terms and conditions) to D Day Training Ltd.


Payment - All accounts are payable in full 14 days prior to the start of any course. Payment can be made by debit card (via telephone or on-line in the future), cheque, bank transfer or cash. Cheque's are payable to D Day Training Ltd.


Confirmation - On receipt of payment, we will post, fax or email confirmation of the course, (please indicate your preferred option) which will include directions and a supporting map showing the course venue, along with details of local hotels if applicable. Until the contract or purchase order has been received, confirmation cannot be given.


Cancellation - You may cancel a scheduled course and be refunded all course fees provided more than 30 working days notice (working days excludes all statutory bank holidays) is given. All cancellations must be received in writing or via email and acknowledged or email read receipt by D Day Training Ltd.


Delegates may be substituted at any time up to course commencement. In the event of cancellation the following charges will be applied:



In a situation where a course is run exclusively for a customer at the D Day Training Ltd Training Centre, on a customer site or any other alternative venue, the same cancellation terms apply.


In the event that it is necessary for D Day Training Ltd to cancel or reschedule a course, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 21 working days notice. In such circumstances a full refund or alternative dates will be available and all liability by D Day Training Ltd will be limited to the value of the original course fee.


Course Content - D Day Training Ltd reserves the right to adjust the content of any course to reflect changes or new developments. All course material, content and visual aids are copyright D Day Training Ltd and may not be reproduced in any form without the express written permission of D Day Training Ltd.


Safety - Course attendees shall observe the safety and security regulations in force at the premises where the training takes place; these regulations are available for inspection at the premises.


Liability - D Day Training Ltd shall have no liability whatsoever whether in contract, tort, including negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise for any loss or damage suffered by a customer arising from, or connected with, errors in any course material or incorrect or incomplete instruction or tuition given at a course.


Complaints - Naturally we aim to fully satisfy all your training requirements; but we recognise that there may be times when you may not be totally happy with our service provision. If in the unfortunate situation your needs have not been addressed correctly we will treat your complaint seriously and professionally. All Complaints will be dealt with by one of D Day Training Ltd Directors personally and should be addressed to: The Complaints department, either by email at info@ddaytraining.com or at D Day Training Ltd postal address.


Governing Law - These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance to English law.


Driver licences - Please note that on the day of the course we will need proof of ID for every delegate. This can be a photo card licence plus the paper counterpart. Or it can be an old style paper licence plus a current passport. No other forms of ID are acceptable. If we don't either of these on the day we will not be able to upload the 7 hours accreditation onto the DVSA database.


Course Timings, Weekend Training & Course Size - Most course run between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. but some clients prefer to start earlier. A full seven hour session must be completed in one day. Or the seven hours can be completed over two days providing that the second 3.5 hour session starts within 24 hours of the end of the first 3.5 hour session. We can run courses during the normal working week or on a Weekend. We are registered with JAUPT to deliver courses for up to 20 delegates on one course.


Attendance & DVSA Registration - Drivers must attend the full seven hours of training to qualify for having their seven hours attendance uploaded to the DVSA register. Drivers failing to attend the full seven hours will not have their details registered with the DVSA so even their partial attendance will not count. Late arrivals or early leavers will not be registered as having attended. Drivers completing seven hours training will have their details uploaded to the DVSA register by DDay Training Ltd within 5 days of course completion. Once a driver has completed 35 hours of training, the DVSA will issue a Driver Qualification Card (DQC) which is sent to the driver's home address.
